Fold and fold lines

You can select different fold types depending on the number of pages of your print product. In the data sheet which you can find under “Details” on the product pages in our online shop, the fold lines are illustrated using guides.

Perforation

You can order some print products with a horizontal or vertical perforation allowing easy tearing of a section. Depending on the product, the exact position of the perforation can either be selected freely or is specified. In the data sheet which you can find under “Details” on the product pages in our online shop, the places where the print product will be perforated are marked if applicable.

Possible deviations in folds and perforations

When cutting to final format, there can be deviations by up to one millimetre.

These deviations can affect the fold or perforation of the print product.

Markers and guides

Feel free to use appropriate markers and guides (e.g. cutting, folding or register marks) to design your product in the layout programme. However, these must not be included in the export of the print files.
